Armin Veh: “We have to be patient”
GERMANY, STUTTGART
When will Marica finally score a goal for Vfb Stuttgart? Who knows. But we have to be patient says Vfb Coach Armin Veh. Veh: “Marica played very well at Shakhtar Donetsk and for his national team, Ciprian is still young and I will offer him chances to prove himself, but he has to work harder. We have to have lots of patience both with Marica and Ewerthon because both strikers have class.”
Marica has been the target of harsh criticism in Germany after making the move to Vfb from Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk for €8,000,000 . He has yet to score after playing 10 matches for the Reds.
What do you think?
Will Marica still be playing at Stuttgart after the winter transfers, or will things go downhill?

Marica only cost Stuttgart around €7m. I’m not sure when he’ll get more playing time. He has shown his qualities when Germany played against Romania, but he still has to prove himself for Stuttgart.

Last time I trust Romanian news sites for accurate transfer fees
.
To tell you the truth I don’t know why Stuttgart wanted him to begin with, his performances at Shakhtar weren’t exactly stellar. But he is young, who knows what the future holds for him.
Thanks for the info on the transfer fee, I just changed it to the accurate fee

Marica’s problem is his mentality. He had periods when he played rather well at Shakhtar, alternated by dry periods. He sometimes lacks motivation, and it takes a good psychologist to help him with that. I would certainly like to see him in a better shape

I think a self-confidence boosting victory over Bayern can act as a good psychologist. Maybe now that Stuttgart are finding their form, Marica will do the same?

Well, it has been a month since this post was news, and it seems that Veh was right indeed. After scoring 2 against Albania in that 6-1 massacre, Marica scored in the last 3 Bundesliga games, and one spectacular goal in Champions League.
Rock on!
