Gabriel Tamas to Celtic

It was revealed today that twenty-four year-old Defender Gabriel Tamaş is in Glasgow, working on contractual terms with Celtic. AJ Auxerre has apparently been offered a fee in the €5m range, which they found acceptable. Details to follow but this would be a superb opportunity for Gabriel and expose him to top-flight to European competition.

Cheers for the linkage. Apparently Celtic and Tamas are meeting in Paris to hopefully finish the deal.
