Steaua Bucureşti to Champions League

Given that there are four members of the national team with Steaua Bucureşti in the Romanian Liga I (Mirel Rădoi, Sorin Ghionea, Dorin Goian, Bănel Nicoliţă) and the overall importance to the domestic league, it is important to note that UEFA have admitted the squad to next seasons Champions League competition. Any possible disciplinary action in the the alleged conspiracy situation has yet to be finalized by the Federaţia Română de Fotbal (Romanian Football Association). UEFA has warned that proceedings could be opened depending upon the findings.
